About
Hi, there. My name is Chris and this is my home on the internet. That’s me to the right and below are useless tidbits of information if your curiosity so demands.
I was born on the East Coast, grew up on the West Coast, and somehow found my way down to Houston which is now my humble home. I enjoy the finer things in life such as music, food, learning, growing, collecting, breathing, moving, thinking and sleeping.
I started getting into Web development roughly a decade ago, learning how to code HTML simply by viewing the source code from other websites and investigating what each thing did. From there everything just took off and the learning has yet to stop.
A few years ago I spent my time playing music in venues big and small all around the Pacific Northwest, having the time of my life playing music constantly with my best of friends. As time drew on, the music started to wear me out, and I grew tired of all the negative things that came along with it. As things started to slow down, I took on my first job with a marketing firm in the Seattle area. It was then that I realized that this is what I want to do with my life, my career.
I eventually decided it was finally time to throw the tunes aside and make a big change in order to get a fresh start and concentrate on moving forward. For whatever reason, I thought it would be a good idea to move down to Austin, Texas, and after eight months, over to Houston. It is here in Houston that I’ve met some of the greatest people both professionally and casually that I’ve ever come across in my life. Eventually that lead to meeting a great girl and a couple of great guys in the same industry named Cliff & Chris who had the same goals as myself. Soon after we got together and started a marketing firm, Primer Grey, with a common goal between us and no end in sight.
When I’m not working I enjoy a variety of things. I collect records, enjoy good food, spend time with friends, golf, play music (I haven’t given it up completely) and take on whatever else might come my way.
